Kylie Minogue is throwing a star-studded, £500,000 bash in London this summer to celebrate her 20 years in the music industry.

The ‘Red blooded woman’ singer, 39, launched her pop career two decades ago with a cover hit ‘Loco-motion’ in Australia on 3 August 1987.

According to a source, “In some ways it’s a celebration of the fact she has resumed her place in the music world after her illness.

It’s also a chance for her to thank all the people who assisted and encouraged her, especially in Australia where her talent was overlooked for a long time.”

Kylie is also flying in old mates from Australia and begging her two grandmothers to make the long trip from Melbourne for this big party.

Guests have been told to assemble at a Soho hotel before being shifted to the secret party location. The bash will be double the fun as the launch of her eagerly anticipated new album is due to be released in December. Also people are waiting for her 2008 world tour.

Kylie’s old boyfriends Jason Donovan, who she acted with in Neighbours, and model James Gooding are also invited. It’s not sure as yet whether French actor ex Olivier Martinez will be making an appearance.
