Firstly, I support stem cell research and abortion rights -they are both property issues that have been spun to encompass morality. Having said that, do you really expect W to support stem cell research if he believes it's wrong? At least he's consistent on the issue. The same could be said about the Iraq war, and although Hussein did not launch the 9/11 attacks, his regime actively supported terrorism, to the extent of providing haven and training within Iraq.

You hate Bush... I get it. I'm not a fan myself. However y'all need to decide amongst yourselves whether he's the "Evil-Overlord" or the "Incompetent Bungler," because he can't be both just depending on your mood.

Aldo: The electoral college serves the same purpose today that it did when it was created; It keeps the overcrowded (and mostly leftist) metropolitan areas from running the nation election after election. A compromise was needed and that's the best our founders (and everyone who followed them) could come up with. It ain't perfect, but we're still #1.

Okay, now I really think Bush is mentally sick and he needs to seek help. I don't understand how can you US citizens let him do that to you. I mean he is really bad person, he just dosen't have anything in his head. I am really pissed off because of what he is doing. How can't you do something about it, he is destroying your nation, causing wars and doing damage to other countires, and finally he is going to kill and harm a lot of people because of his veto on stem cells.

I'm always happily surprised whenever I see Americans stand up for what America used to be synonymous with, a no-nonsense society where people dare to speak their minds.

My surprise is in large part because these occasions are occurring less and less frequently. Bush Jr. and his cabal are doing more damage to America and it's image abroad than you will collectively be able to redress in the next two generations, but please don't give up because that will only make the damage worse. In Iraq as elsewhere, real change comes from within and you are part of that.

It is my view that America can only truely start on its way up again after getting rid of campaign donations in any form and the electoral college, as well as getting a congress with some independence from the so called 'lobbyists'. The fault lies not with Bush alone (though he shoulders a pretty broad part of it), but also with a total lack of oversight.

Case in point the Iraq budget, it would have been fine to just leave the original proposal on Bush's desk until he either ran out of money or signed it.

best regards,

Finally after killing so many men in iraq, this is the best way to kill lots of ameriacn at their own home. While world proceed to next age, we might go as well start our journey to live in the caves.
