Hi,

I just found this site while exploring the internet, and while I've never left a comment or even used the internet much, I'm compelled to comment on this because at the time I was so interested in the story. (I grew up on Nancy Drew books....)

I remember when this story first broke, I was convinced this guy was shady. Then I hear that his new father-in-law is a who's who at the DCD. Then I saw the interview he and his "wife" gave after their whirlwind honeymoon. Then I saw all the places they/he(?) "visited".

Here is what I think, strictly hypothetical, of course....

Andrew Speaker and his father in law were hired to spread an infectious disease by ?. When Andrew messed it up they came up with the honeymoon story and brought in the Dr.s daughter to give the story credibility in case anyone suspected the travel plans would give them away. After all, whos' to say it's not true? The perfect cover. However, if you watch the exchange between Andrew and the new wife during a news interview, it seems obvious that this theory could hold water. Mr. Speaker barely acknowledeges his new bride and seems agitated by her presence. he barely let's her speak. I just don't believe their relationship is real.

Why was he so determined to finish his travel plans????? Was the wife with him the entire time? Did he go to all the places he was scheduled to go to? Were they behaving as if they were on their honeymoon? Did they interact with other people on their trip? How would these people describe their attitudes towards each other? Did they appear to be madly in love? Look at the places on their trip. They could just as easily have been chosen as strategic global points where biological elements could be released to do the greatest harm.

Everything about this story makes more sense if you look at it as though it was a premeditated act of terrorism which was easily whitewashed. I don't think he had TB at all. I think he more likely had little vials of who knows what. Test results can be easily faked I would imagine...especially if your partner in crime works at the CDC. and has access to records. Would this person also have access to viruses? Maybe they weren't hired. Maybe they made their own deal with God knows who for God knows how much $$$$$$$$$$. When the plan turned sour perhaps they reasoned that if Andrew was thought to have TB, it would be better than if he was found to be involved in the unthinkable, which would put everyone involved under a spotlight.

The fiance just happens to be the daughter of the Dr. (researcher?) at the CDC? That's convenient isn't it?

Andrew says he wanted to finish his honeymoon and that's why he didn't obey "orders" to not travel. If that was the case one would expect to see a happy couple madly in love. When did they announce their engagement? Is their any news on how long they were engaged? When was the wedding? Was it planned for a while? What friends were in attendance?

I've obviously not kept up on this and maybe I'm way off, but I was wondering if any of these people have been investigated for the type of thing I'm suggesting because I just don't buy it and I'll bet they haven't been...

Thanks for the time and place to comment.
