I totally agree that it was a very quick and fast paced read - couldn't put it down. Great character development and insight into many of the struggles we all face. Nick doesn't get bogged down in a lot of details and keeps the story moving along with dashes of humor sprinkled in between the drama. It's refreshing to read a book about Italians that doesn't glorify the mafia, but examines the inter-cultural struggle with the stereotype. I hope to read more from Nick. Loved the book too. In fact, once the story got going, I went through about 200 pages in one sitting. I'll never look at nail guns the same way.
