WHy don't rides have UPS units so the ride can finish in the even of either a power failure or even a voltage change?

Imagine if an amusment ride got totally fried as a result of a surge however UPS devices will be VERY expensive on EVERY RIDE so rides that have heights or (stuck places) which you cannot evacuate should be prioritized like a drop down ride.

What a spendid application for a transfer switch and an emergency power connection. Drag up a power generator trailer and move the ride to the parked position. That would require foresight though.
