I raised two boys in a Lesbian household and I must say that their friends told us that we taught them to be more sensitive to others. Furthermore, our kids were emotionally stronger in the end because of the taunting some people gave them. Today both are productive citizens and are a joy to be around. However, what I have noticed just as they did heterosexual families tend to teach hate and that is sad. Not only were our sons stronger emotionally from being raised by Lesbians they also had to fight the hate from being half-white and half-black. I must thank God for the parents of those kids that were allowed to play with our sons because those parents were sensitive enough to teach their children how to really love one another regardless of the differences in skin and family setting.
