China is a threat to India and it has tried every means possible to halt India's development. India is the cradle of human civilization and knowledge. India will rise and they will have a leader who will lead them to glory. They are already on their way.Indians have to become more aggressive in a responsible way in their dealings with others and not just be timid. We have to show our true genius. It's in all of us Indians. China fears it, that it why they are trying to derail India's progress. India will rise. Sorry for this late comment but hey better late then never. If you talk to "Asians" in "Asia," they will tell you India is not part of Asia. You are servants to nations that conquered you and that's how these nations think of you. South Asians are working as truck drivers, security guards, and low pay workers in rich nations such as Japan, South Korea, and even in HK. You Indians need to understand how these rich Asian countries think of you in their minds before "always" making ridiculous claims like becoming superpower. A simple example, have you talked to your former conquerer, UK, and ask them how and what they think of Indians? I am sure Indias are not in high place in their minds. India is going to be another irresponsible global power if it develops itself too. India is trying to push all the focus on China so that she can develop itself unchecked as the super-power. While giving all the pressure to China, India can grow without having much pressure from the global countries. India is also one of the least responsible country for its non-signatory to Nuclear Non-Proliferating Treaty. If India become a superpower, it will be the most selfish country too. I reckon, no one should listen to this article.
