My own grandson was left with me from the time he was born until now (8+ years) I am absolutely certain if either of his so called parents thought that there was anything in it for them ...money etc...they would be after him in a flash. I would have a really hard time contesting any action that may bring as they qualify for Legal Aid as they have nothing and are wastrels, I , on the other hand, have a mortgage so I have equity in my home which would deny me legal aid yet my income is only a state pension. I cannot apply for any loans even though I have assets I have nothing to pay the loans back with. I cannot go to the court and ask for custody by rights of the status quo (he has been with me all his life) as they will have to be advised and I am opening the door to them taking an action whereas if I stay silent Alexander's custody remains in limbo...When will justice take off the blinders.....
