The man who is said to have assaulted a 13-year-old girl this week and a 7-year-old girl earlier in the month was spotted by his second victim outside her school on Wednesday. Pittsburgh police say the girl was waiting in a fenced-in parking lot behind Schaeffer Intermediate School in Crafton at 7:50am when she spotted the man in an alley behind the school. He then allegedly pointed to her and made a gesture across his throat with his hand. She turned away, and when she looked again he was gone. She then reported the incident to a teacher who reported her story to the principal.

The girl’s first incident with this girl and the unknown man on Tuesday when the girl was taking a short cut to school near Dubois Street at 8:00am. He came out of the bushes and grabbed the girl, trying to force himself on her. The girl escaped and contacted police. A similar accident happened two weeks ago with another girl in the same neighborhood.

The man is described as a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build. He is said to have brown, curly hair and is clean-shaven. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, tan boots and a white headband. A composite sketch of the man was made after the first attack and shown on the local news.
