Jack Bruce, not Ginger Baker, did the Fantasy Camp thing. For someone who's still building strength from being near death, it seems like a reasonable way to pass the time, have some fun and make some easy money. 2. Jack is far from broke, since he wrote most of the tunes, he makes the most of the cream money. Even in the "down years" the residuals kept coming in. The recent reunion surely made him a bunch of cash ... 3. Baker was the least enthused about the reunion in the first place, so ... this new date is most likely comimg from Eric's management, particularly since Jack was quoted as saying that they had no plans of touring during an interview just a few days before the new gig was announced. 4. the infamous drumstick episode happened in the early sixties with the Graham Bond Organization.
