Al pours his heart out on so many songs on this album - to call either 'The Night of the Fourth of May' and/or 'The News from Spain' pop songs is just ludicrous. You are clearly an Al fan; indeed there are many of us. In my case, now that I live in France I coincide my trips to my home town of London to match when Al is touring there. I've followed his career for nigh on 30 years and I think he is an absolute genius. 'Orange' was a very good album - it's direction and focal point was his hearbreak following the break up with Mandi and I'm surprised that you hold it in such low regard.
