I saw it twice and will purchase the DVD to view the movie and the Mayan culture in more detail. The movie itself has many attributes. As usual with Mel, it is family oriented not only with Jaguar's family, but the old woman who had status in her family, but had no worth in the Mayan culture. The movie has many discussion points beyond being an exciting and well produced film. As usual with Mel's productions, one receives his monies' worth. I too am anxious to see his next production.
