Greetings,

I'm especially interested in the subject of slavery in the world, because when it's discussed it's as if only the West participated in it. If Woolley is an academic who has strong distaste for slavery, then he should study the Arab Muslim slave trade which, in fact, has more than 1,000 years of history than the Western slave trade. And they didn't start it either, however one could inquire about the state of Arab slave trade had the Western world not influenced it. So, as much as Woolley dislikes the slave trade history of the USA, he should (in order not to be hypocritical) be even MORE disgusted at the slave trade history of the Arab Muslims. We all are so very thankful for all of those who sacrificed their lives for this practice to end, but one must have an accurate understanding of the true story. Go to Tanzania and look for the evidences left behind of the East African Slave trade...you'll find them.
