What you said about "And when push comes to shove, most online universities are still businesses that exist to make a profit" makes alot of sense...

Online schools are springing up by the truckloads, and what was once a noble profession (Teaching qualifies, i guess) has now boiled down to dollars and cents. Although most online schools are still being run like traditional school, except for the change in medium, sadly there are schools that exists purely to make a profit.

It is therefore paramount to choose the right school & right program if one is deciding to pursuing an online education.

i feel that I am learning something, and not wasting my time attending this school.

I worked at the University of Phoenix for over a year and feel very strongly that this is only a business concerned about making money and avoiding getting caught bending or breaking the law. I do not feel that they are concerned about providing a quality education at all. After my experiences, I personally would never attend a for profit school or university of any kind.
