.
absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
grow terrorists at home

breed sick ideology
blend in planning jihad

It is horrendous to have people of your own ethnicity try to commit these acts and especially against the country which saved your own people, your own region, the same region that you are now trying to make a State, going against any principles of international law, and any previous standards of how should a State come to existence. I want to thank KSK for what he/she wrote and I just don't know what to add. What I have always known since I was a kid is that Albania has been a great supporter of peace in the Balkans, and if it wasn't for the general crisis in 1997 maybe the international community (I mean the media) wouldn't have any clue about its whereabouts, and I am not saying this in a bad meaning, but just because of its previous isolation and the fact that it is a tiny country in quite a small continent (quantitatively speaking). But one thing that I have learned from my country is that people respect each-others religion and moderation and secularity are the mottos of the Albanian constitution. I don't know about the origin of these four guys whether they are from Albania or from the ethnic Albanian community in FYROM and Kosovo. This matters on a detailed observation, but the unchangeable fact is that they are Albanians and that makes me be ashamed, for the first time of my own people. Obviously they do not represent the majority, and they are a tiny fraction whose existence I didn't know until today. I don't know, these people do not deserve to be called Albanians, not because being Albanian is some kind of divine privilege, but because I refuse to call them Albanians.
I cannot accept in my own community such repulsive people who do nothing else but ruin our fragile reputation and do nothing else but help those who want to see the Balkans suffer endlessly.

Thanks very much for the comment, KRS, point well taken. We have enough home-grown idiots of our own here in the states. No need to paint anyone else with that broad a brush.

I agree that it is very ironic that Albanians would attack anything American. Albania/Kosova (and their people) are probably the staunchest US allies in Europe. American's can do no wrong when it comes to Albanians. I know that because I am an Albanian-American and frequently visit Kosova. In fact, Albania is one of the very few countries that still have troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is also ironic because the US is about to assist Kosova gain its independence. And it is also ironic because, as you said, Fort Dix was the first point of safety for many Albanian refugees from Kosovo. I remember volunteering there and seeing their faces experience safety and freedom for the first time.

It is important to realize that every nation and country has its idiots. It's imperative not to let these clowns paint all Albanians in one color. Albanians remain US supporters. Thank God these couple of bad seeds were stopped before they could cause any harm to our troops.
