Hitler grew a beard and became a botanical scholar studying herbs in the Himalayas. The local people were mis-led into believing by the British Police by using their agents that he was to be referred as Baba a title of respect for an elder, wiseman. There are people still alive who worked as child servants bringing him tea called "chai". He always ate vegetarian food and disapproved of meat. He also liked to sketch and paint portraits of Indian children then. He was surrounded by his closest Nazis in disguise as missionaries and preachers coming to discuss spiritual matters with Baba. As a matter of fact, many others, including Argentinian author Uki Goñi, have mentioned the role of KLM (and Swissair) in getting fugitive nazis to South America. Of course there were nazi fugitives wanting to go to Argentina (and Chile, and Brazil, and Colombia, etc.), like there were many who opted for Spain, Syria, France (Foreign Legion), Britain, Egypt, India and...the United States. By the way, most nazis just remained in Germany or Austria. The so-called rat lines (escape routes for nazis) were managed by the Vatican (monasteries in the ALps) together with the OSS, the forerunner of the CIA. The Americans thus knew exactly who was escaping and where he went.
