At 8 pm last night 17 year old Kevin Beers was returning from a hiking trip. He was driving and he ran off the road landing on his car roof in a gully.
The accident killed Mr. Beers with his fellow car mates Cory Gauker (15) Donald Carnes (16) and injuring seriously John Kibe (18).
Speed is believed to be a factor in this accident.
These boys were all students at Dauphin County Vocational-Technical School. They were active in there communities with 3 of them being active junior firefighters at local volunteer stations.
What a horrific tragedy. They will be missed surely.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI feel really bad for these boys that were put through this pain. No one deserves to die and im sure we have met one way or another during school. Alot of people today have been crying for the missing of the boys here and im sorry for the parents i know its hard losing a child. I heard this was happening when exactly it was happening…im ex friend david stucky called me and asked me if i was with my boyfriend Matt or Joe where with me and i told him no and he said well they might be dead and i said how im on my way to an accident and he said he’d call back and never did then i got a text message from my girl telling me the guys that died were Corey,Kevin,Donald,and John and i didnt know any of those boys then my friend dan said you should know donald he sat behind me a lunch and i use to sit with him…its kinda hard to absorb the feeling that someone isnt there and it feels like they are still are. We all love you boys
