An “unidentified source” tipped off the feds about a camping trip that a congressman took 10 years ago with a group that included two 17 year old former male pages. The feds are looking into it.

The congressman spokeswoman said the congressman’s sister, office staffers and several Park Service employees were also on the trip and that the boys paid their own way.

A Grand Canyon official in 1996, who was also on the trip, confirmed to NBC News that the two young men were only a part of a larger group.

Why the tip now - ten years later? And why is this well chaperoned camping trip news anyway?

Hmmm, let me see - well gosh, the congressman is openly gay and surprise, surprise is a Republican. Oh yeah, the election is less than two weeks off.
