Well said Zarif...

To comment of Hasibul's statement, like it or not, CTG has lost their face and credibility by the ‘exile’ / ‘not letting in’ fiasco. I've all along said that, CTG would be best served it they cut off many different (other) heads and arms of these two ladies. They are nothing without these extra arms and faces. But the moment you try to cut the MAIN head and leave other heads and faces in place, it's only a matter of time that they rise up to save the main head. After all we have a pretty good track rerecord of defeating any power by 'RAJPATH' politics. Once supporters (since they nothing else better to do) come out to the street (rajapth), nothing will stand. Unfortunately it's the street violence politics (and not the parliamentary politics) that have always prevailed in Bangladesh.

Again, seize their bank account, ask for clarification of the deposits, but leave them alone. As they say... in any investigation keep following the money. It'll always lead you to new discoveries. Make them powerless by putting in jail, under court of law that is, all of the top politicians of all parties, their financiers, corrupt govt officials, law enforcement (higher) officers, god fathers, anybody who accumulated surprising amount of wealth (w/o hitting any lottery or inventing something), and most of all of those bank officers who approved a loan by apprising a collateral 100 times than it's real market value. Collect evidence, prosecute, convict, send them to jail and throw the keys away. Bank loan defaulters should not be charged if they were GIVEN chunk of money by the bank officials by manipulating banking laws and regulations. Good for the GM of house building finance corp who committed suicide because he couldn’t put 1 and 1 together in his book. I like to see more of such bankers committing suicides or coming forward to accept responsibility.

CTG should offer leniency in jail time if someone comes forward with their known fault of corruption and accept responsibility, where some form or fashion the state was affected. This way, CTG wouldn’t have to go throw the burden of proof and can immediately send them to a shorter jail sentence. I strongly feel that lot of these jailed person will come out being a better person.

My two cents...

Hasina's new claim is that she wants to clean up corruption. Has she forgotten that her government engineered the first stock market crash just after coming to power in 1996. And made Bangladesh the most corrupt nation in the world in June of 2001.

Have we forgotten how she mobilised the mob killing of 4 Jamat workers in public, actually in front of TV camera.

If her dad is the father of the nation she is the mother of terrorism and corruption.
