A new species of mouse has been discovered on the tiny island of Cyprus. The discovery is the first discovery of a new species of animal in Europe in years. The mouse is called the Mus cypriacus and features a larger head, teeth and a longer tail than its cousin, the common house mouse. The mouse is the first new mammal to be discovered on the island of Cyprus. It is believed to have been around for the last half million years.
