So we all know about the controversial shaving of pop star Britney Spears head, but we are still left pondering why she done it – was it a publicity stunt? An attempt to tell the paparazzi to “back off”? She saw a picture of ‘G.I Jane’ Demi Moore and liked her look?
Well apparently none of those. Recent reports have a friend of the singer claiming that Spears shaved her head as a tribute to her aunt who had died from cancer, according to a friend of the star.
Spears stunned the world when she cut off all her hair in full view of paparazzi camera crews at a Los Angeles salon in February and left us all asking, “Huh?”
The stunt was followed by a stint in rehab - though a pal claims Spears was suffering post-partum depression and grief and shaved off her hair as an act of “solidarity”.
The friend tells PageSix.com, “Britney’s aunt had just died of cancer. She was feeling very guilty because she hadn’t been there with her, she was overwhelmingly depressed and she shaved her head in solidarity.”

I really don’t care whether she’s bald or why she went bald. I agree on what I read on the internet “Who among the celebrities can be bald and still be beautiful?” Take that, people.
