A big congratulations to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the longest running movie in Indian cinemas, which recently finished its 600th week on the big screen. DDLJ is in the 12th year of its long run, for those of you like myself who can’t do math and need a calculator. Well loved by audiences everywhere, it’s a simple boy meets girl story that goes straight to your heart and won’t leave. Who doesn’t love Shahrukh’s quirky eyebrows and Kajol’s luminous smile? And they’re chemistry together! Or even Shahrukh’s dorky hat; it does grow on you! Oh, don’t get me started. So a big Hoorah! And a Hip Hip Hooray for DDLJ!
