The South African cricketer, Herschelle Gibbs, wanted by Delhi Police in a 6-year old match-fixing case, finally appeared before the Delhi Police. Gibbs had, actually, divulged all the information he claimed he knew about match fixing before the Kings’ Commission in South Africa, but still he was questioned by the Delhi police.

For the record, Gibbs was named by the former captain of South Africa, late Hansie Cronje, in his taped conversation with the bookies. The details of the interrogation revealed that Gibbs has ruffled a few feathers by naming former South African player Derek Crookes. The police is, meanwhile, hopeful of finally getting to the bottom of this endless controversy.
