Logan Act? Are you serious? Have you actually bothered to read the CRS' report on the Act? or the Act itself? Well I have, and it looks like the Act may in fact be unconstitutional. It certainly is boneheaded, as is your blog post.

Logan Act aside, any US citizen can communicate with anybody anywhere about anything he cares to, buddy. It's called freedom of speech and derives from the Creator, as the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence reminds us, and that freedom is underlined with the First Amendment of the Constitution of these United States, forbidding the Congress (more boneheads) of these United States from making any law abridging said freedom of speech.

Which right, I am chastened to add, allows you to spout off just as ignorantly as you want.

Have a nice day.

PS: Your Logan Act link points to Amazon.com, hardly a researcher's ideal source. Next time, try linking to a real source, such as the article (PDF) at the CRS site"> itself.)

Throughout that long blog, *which was very good* i failed to see you mention one time, anything, about the Republican congressmen that went with her. I guess that Logan Act doesnt apply to them huh. Any efforts to end terrorism should be welcomed by both sides. I think the truth is, in fact, the GOP is a little afraid that Pelosi goes to Syria or Iran and actually makes something happen. That would be unbearable to Republicans if it ever became reality. Let's stop fighting amongst eachother and realize who Congress works for. Me. You. Your mom. Everyone who's paid taxes this year. Or better, those who pay 3.25 cents a gallon like me. What has Bush done for me lately???

The Logan Act doesn't include congressman. That was decided in 1975 by the State Department.
