Parents, employers, and educators are emphasizing the importance of college to their students.  Most students do everything in their power to appear as if they are the perfect candidate for a particular university.  During their high school years, students submerge themselves in academic studies, school athletics, social groups, and employment.  The result is they are drowning in stress, while losing perspective on how to maintain a healthy balance of life activities.

Many school officials are out to alleviate this stress by supplying students with free, in-school massages.  The therapeutic sessions are given by licensed masseuses and are generally offered once/month during students’ lunch hours.  Students that attend high schools that indulge in such methods of relief are exasperated with the program.
