captainjohann's bigotry is beyound belief.

Scientology is an applied religious philosophy and its many technologies are in use throughout the world by people at every economic condition, from small villages in South Africa to the temples in India and Nepal. As a Scientologist for nearly 40 years, I know that most taking classes and services (in America) are working men and women, not at all close to being wealthy.

More importantly, anyone can go to www.ScientologyHandbook.org and study many "how-to" tools developed by L. Ron Hubbard. Visit: www.ScientologyHandbook.org

Also any two people can learn Dianetics and greatly assist one another.
Details:

The first book that L. Ron Hubbard wrote about his discoveries is Dianetics: Evolution of a Science, which is posted on the following site:

How is it Scientology seems to have followers only among the RICH and FAMOUS? Why it does not allow its followers to get out peacefully if they are disllusioned? Its exposure of unscientificness of Pyschiatry is the only gain from this SECT. Hope it uses its resources to expose DRUG MNCS also.

For nearly 40 years, I have been a Scientologist (Scientology= "knowing how to Know") and Dianetics auditor ("one who listens"). Between 1950-1951 (the first year of Dianetics in broad use), many locating the root causes of this lifetime's unwanted conditions, were discovering past life traumas. Only through removing the influence of past life traumas, were present life situations resolved. From this, L Ron Hubbard researched the qualities, charactertistics and potentialities of the spiritual being. This led to the establishment of Scientology.

The answer to your question as to how Hubbard discovered these things is simple. In addition to his personal experience, he studied thousands of case studies using scientific methology. His science background (engineering and related subjects) thaught him to approach any study with strict adherence to the methods that are used by research scientists. Thus, Hubbard combined the Western scientific approach with the wisdom of the East.

Hubbard's more than 5,000 published works and 3,274 recorded lectures, plus his filmed interview (the onlyinterview he ever gave, which is now on DVD) details every step of his research and discovery.

The DVD is available at: http://www.scientology.org/interview/
