The Walton family earned 90 billion dollars in 2007.They could care less what Whymrhymer thinks even though its obvious he's on their side of any issue. Walmart is like the kudzu vine that grows in the south. Its slowly working its way north and choking the life out of everything in its path. I wonder what the future brings to all of the wonderful W-M employees when e-commerce takes off in the next 3-5 years. Everyone will realize that shopping on-line is less expensive, saves gas and the environment. Why? The internet is bigger than Wal-Mart.

AMEN! Finally someone else that shares my opinion in this matter. If I sued every company that made me work through breaks and didn't pay me overtime, wow, I would have 10+ lawsuits going right now. But it's not worth my time nor is it worth how horrible I would feel for such a trivial lawsuit. I was actually contacted by a firm that is bringing a class action lawsuit against a large company I worked for, and I am well within the parameters to be included in the lawsuit. They were very excited as I was in management and they did not have anyone from management yet represented in their case, so that was more money for them. I will admit I did consider it for a moment, the thought of $20k for a stay-at-home mom/starving artist is very tempting. But then I realized I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror every day without feeling guilt. While they probably do owe me overtime, there were also many times they let me go home early, gave me extra incentives, extra paid time off, etc and I figure between that and the fact that I didn't complain to them about it then, I have no right to sue them. And I can breathe freely knowing I did the right thing!
