		<description>Though what was said here is true the statement "that a war would be fought over slavery" is quite incorrect.  The war was fought over a States right to secede.  Slavery was brought into the equasion with the "Emancipation Proclamation" which was introduced to keep certain "other" countries out of our civil war.</description>
