You say that as if we had an identifiable "enemy" in this fight.  When the cops show up at a domestic disturbance -- who is their enemy?  You just never know until one of the party gets violent towards the cop.

And I don't know what war college education tells you that setting deadlines shows weakness.  Or that showing weakness is any worse than behaving like suicidal sitting ducks that aggravate the violence?  I suspect that's a "gut feeling" on your part.  In which case you're buying into the rhetoric being pitched by the war defenders.  Your characterization of the so-called enemy seems very simplistic and knee-jerk.

I know you're smarter than that.  Give this some more careful thought.</description>
