I would like to spend five minutes with this guy alone, no holds barred.  For a man who locked up a nine year old boy for three years to be graced with the title ‘father’ is an insult to real fathers around the world.  He’s not a father…he’s a monster. 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —  A father was arrested and charged with keeping his 9-year-old son locked in a bedroom for much of the past three years and watching his every move with surveillance cameras.
The home of Randall Warren Piercy, 41, was like a prison that had cameras in almost every room, with the father monitoring the boy on TV and computer screens, sheriff’s Lt. Annie Smith said Thursday.
What exactly causes a person to rationalize this type of behavior and come to the conclusion that it is acceptable?  What possesses a man, who aided in the creation of this young boy’s life to subject him to such a horrible existence?  In my opinion the title of ‘father’ should never be given to such a monster.  I refuse to accept the fact that he can be lumped into the same category as me (father). 

I only hope that somehow this man’s punishment will fit the crime he committed.  I hope he is locked away in a small little room and given bathroom privileges once a day…in honor of his 9 year old son.
