According to President Jammeh, some people think he’s a fool but that any of
his patients who gets re-infected thanks to engaging in sex, drinking
attaya, chewing cola-nut before a month after his treatment was
administered, should no more bank on him.
This was contained in President Jammeh’s address to 30 people said to have
been treated by him in his latest herbal treatment.
Speaking on the national television last night, the Gambian leader stated
that it was regrettably lamentable that some of his patients only tested
positive to Hiv1 after the treatment only to be tested Hiv1 &Hiv2 positives
in a later test in Morocco.
“I know what each of you does. But you can rest assure that nobody would
anymore benefit from my intervention because you get re-infected due to
irresponsible behaviour. My treatment is not an immunization against
infection. I attempted to send some of my patients packing but some people
interceded on their behalf. You should know that many people are sitting out
there waiting to get treated,” Mr. Jammeh further warned.
The Gambian leader did not forget to inform his audience that he was
rendering them a big sacrifice more herculean than presidency.
“I’m presently executing a task more difficult than presidency because
people have entrusted their lives to me.Millions have been pumped into
finding a cure for Aids with many earning millions but my treatment is based
on humanitarian grounds,” he concluded.
