There is nothing shadowy about Obama's past. His campaign has made several statements about it. He lived in Indonesia from the ages of 6-10. No doubt that has as big impact on him as whatever Warner Todd Huston did at that age has had on him. Equally it has as big an impact on his current work as WTH's past has on his current work. Our past influences us. Obama is currently a Congegationalist. No doubt he carries some memory of an exposure to Islam. Well that simply makes him more rounded I should imagine. I am glad that when I was a student I took the chance to attend some Greek Orthodox services. It gives you a different perspective on religion. There is nothing shadowy about Obama’s past. His campaign has made several statements about it. He lived in Indonesia from the ages of 6-10.
