First, the Democratic party scheduled the debate themselves, no one force them to do it on Fox. Deciding it's a waste of time after the fact and coming up with these lame excuses speaks very poorly of then.

Second, by that measure, CBS isn't a real news network either, standing by faked documents concerning George W. Bush long after they were proven false. Would you find it reasonable for Republicans to boycott CBS from here on out for that single transgression?

Nobody owes Fox favors. But to allege that Fox doesn't cover Democrats, and then refuse to appear on Fox, Democrats are creating self-fulfilling prophesy as propaganda for their base; a base more than willing to take it hook, line and sinker.

First, this is a Democratic debate for Democratic voters - hardly the majority of Fox's viewership so such a debate on that network is a waste of time. Second, the notion that Fox is a news channel is unproven. This is the same network that reported that Barack Obama attended a madrassah and long after the story was debunked, chose to repeat it rather than retract it - as opposed to what any REAL 'news' network would have done. The Democrats don't owe Fox any favors.
