In a rather crass and pathetic move, CNN has begun soliciting accusations of online predation against Mark “How is my Favorite Young Stud Doing?” Foley. There is a form linked from the network’s home page where real or contrived victims can submit alleged IM conversations for review.

Of course, the network will verify any accusations it gets, but the competition to publish the nastiest, most puke-inspiring Foley conversation is getting a little tedious. ABC News has been the most successful at finding sources, for some reason, but even they don’t advertise.

I would like to see some of the non-authentic submissions though. Some intern is probably going through the e-mails right now, laughing his/her behind off.
