What many of us fear is that Israel will so antagonize the rest of the world with its occupation mess that it will eventually bring about an attack that will destroy it. The threat from weapons of mass destruction will scarcely be ended off by an attack on Iran, which — were it to attack Israel — would be guaranteeing its own mass destruction.
I personally worry far more about Pakistan with its existing weapons capacities and potential instabilities — and Dr. Khan, well known supplier of nuclear technology to any and all:

In my firm view it is essential for Israel (and the U.S. if it ever gets its act back together)Â to go full speed ahead into peace-making while there is still time.
We are all potentially only one shipping case or rocket away from the worst of things. This is no time for incredibly stupid culture warfare!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackWith whom is Israel supposed to make peace? Hamas states, clearly, loudly, consistently and often that it has no interest in peace with Israel. The only interest of the Palestinian Authority is the destruction of Israel.
Why don’t the “peace-loving” liberals lean on the Palestinians, who are the obstacle to peace?
