With the executive and control of congress: 1. Social security reform ...ouch. i think not. That layla, should be listed in the dictionary under, well, "disaster." And who would have imagined that the AARP were a bunch of pot smoking, bush hating, hippy liberals? They should just go hug a tree, right? 2. Capturing and/or killing of Bin Laden. ...ouch again. Bush doesn't even think of him anymore, in his own words. All he did was murder 3000 innocent americans. Why trouble the prez with the weight of the world? He's just so folksy 3. Prescription drug plan. ...this is getting pretty bad, but worry not! It's not baseball, it's politics! Swing as much as you'd want! 4. Fiscal discipline. ...wow. I really thought this would be a check in the win column foryou guys. I mean, these are reagan's republicans! Nothing like a bridge to nowhere in Alaska to reinvent the GOP's perception of fiscal responsibility. But hey...what's a good antedote for those pesky tax and spend dems? Why, BORROW and spend republicans no less! We owe china a few billion....what's a trillion more? 5. Iraq. ..... bah. what's the point? I know at least Halliburton is feeling like a liberator! Aside from the debacle in a military sense.... it's a debacle of common sense. I had a leaky roof, recently. I called for some estimates...you know, go with the best deal, right? It's what any red-blooded, savvy american would do. Well, unless you're in Congress.... i think they gave out no bid contracts printed on toilet paper rolls. Cheney gave Halli the tip so they were first on the pot. 6. No child left behind. ..... dear god. ever talk to an actual teacher about this? My guess is your "journalistic integrity" doesn't allow for it. You're a blogger, after all! find one, quicky. It will save me some keystrokes. Seriously...i could go on for days. but instead i will rock your world....give you a moment of zen.... If questioning the war, a god given right to every american with the will to speak his or her mind, is "emboldening the enemy," what is letting Bin Laden run free doing for them?
