According to the San Francisco Chronicle, “The investigation into the source of a deadly E. coli outbreak that has sickened nearly 200 people moved into the criminal realm for the first time today, as federal search warrants were executed at two Salinas Valley produce companies. Investigators for the FBI and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration went into Natural Selection Foods LLC in San Juan Batista and into the Green Giant Fresh by Growers Express plant in Salinas.”
Forbes reports that “federal health officials said early in their investigation that deliberate contamination was not suspected.”
“We are investigating allegations that certain spinach growers and distributors may not have taken all necessary or appropriate steps to ensure that their spinach was safe before they were placed into interstate commerce,” U.S. Attorney Kevin Ryan said in a statement, according to the Forbes report.
Well, it is important to remember that, particularly in comparison to other nations, the Unitied States is especially fortunate when it comes to food reliability and quality. We rarely have such situations like what recently happened with the spinach and it doesn’t seem necessary to me to rush to criminalize an accident.

Sharon Secor was paid to write for our company. Despite being paid, Sharon Secor did not fulfill her obligation to us and we are now in the process of suing her. Sharon Secor was given every opportunity to complete the work she was hired to do. We will not rest until we achieve full restitution.
Do not hire Sharon Secor for any project, be it on a freelance basis or otherwise. She is unprofessional and a rip-off artist. You have been warned.
