mccain.jpg John McCain who is posturing himself for the 2008 presidential bid stooped so low over this past weekend – though he never had a chance to get my vote to begin with – he solidified why that is set in stone for me. McCain, though he may be the most qualified contender has absolutely no character.

“I think that Donald Rumsfeld will go down in history as one of the worst secretaries of defense in history,” McCain said this past weekend of a man whose prosecution of the war McCain had previously supported, resolutely. A man McCain said at Rummy’s retirement gathering “deserves Americans’ respect and gratitude.”

Which is it McCain? Are you a flip flop now? That seems to be the trend-say one thing today-say something totally opposite tomorrow. Are you confused, because I know the American people are not.

McCain said this on Rummy first – “deserves Americans’ respect and gratitude.” Now McCain say this of Rummy, “will go down as one of the worst secretaries of defense in the history.” Which one is it McCain?

This is how politicians make a living-saying what sounds good at the time irregardless if they mean it or not–saying what they perceive the American people want to hear–but never delivering on their word.

Thanks McCain. You just proved my point valid and solidified why you were not going to get my vote ever–but now it is set in stone.
