It’s the last stand for Chief Illiniwek, the University of Illinois very popular mascot.
Political correctness gone wild ended the 81 year tradition of the “Chief”, as the U of I finally bowed to the NCAA. In 2005, the university was banned from hosting post season NCAA championship events because of the controversy.

What’s next? Maybe “Hail to The Chief” will be renamed “Here Comes The Prez”.
