		<description>I don't mean to be rude, but Ayn Rand and objectivism are about as opposite from the left as you can get. Ayn Rand was all about the importance of capitalism without the influence of government. . .not exactly a lefty ideal. The typical Ayn Rand fan only cares about the best and the brightest - not about all  children, regardless of whether they are poor or rich. No Child Left Behind only gives money to help children who are testing below grade level (not the best and brightest in any neighborhood - I used to teach in a very poor urban area, and all of the brightest kids did just fine on the state tests). No Child Left Behind really doesn't have any support/requirements/standards for gifted education. That was Institute's point.</description>
