I have been driving for 20 years now and have seen both a reduction in my vehicle speed and that of other road users thanks to the MOT reduce your speed message. This can only be a positive thing in the wake of electronic distractions prevalent in our society and in our vehicles. We all accept that even little things like talking to a passenger, changing a CD or reaching for your sun glasses increases the risk of a crash when we are speeding. You have also been quoted as saying the Police should break off pursuits sooner - the public does not want this to happen - check the comments on your article that appeared in Yahoo.
