State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. is the beneficiary of a three year contract with the NFL.  The contract allows State Farm to sponsor the event, and use of the league’s trademarks in television promotions and on the NFL’s internet site (www.NFL.com).  Mark Gibson, assistant vice president for State Farm’s advertising department expressed his excitement saying, “This sponsorship allows State Farm to communicate through a channel that reaches millions of people and has an incredibly loyal fan base.”
