Pain is a part of being alive. We all get the occasional headache or wake up and feel like we totally screwed up our back while we were sleeping. The problem is when pain becomes a part of every single day and doesn’t get better. Head pain

There are several types of headaches, including cluster headaches, tension headaches, and sinus headaches. Cluster headaches exist on one side of the face or the other, and can come with a burning pain so severe that you want to scream. Your eyes may feel teary and the affected side of your nose may feel congested. These kinds of headaches generally require diagnosis and treatment from a doctor. Tension headaches, however, are more common and can often be taken care of with over-the-counter pain medicine. A dull ache in your head is often a tension headache, and they’re typically triggered by stress. If the medicine you buy at your drugstore isn’t doing the trick, it’s time to see a doctor. Sinus headaches tend to affect the front of your head, or your sinus area, the most. If you have bad allergies and difficult sinuses, then it could be a sinus headache. A sinus headache can also be a sign of a sinus infection, so if you treat the issues with your sinuses, the headache should go away. It’s kind of gross to think about, but if there’s a lot of mucus buildup, that means sinus pressure and, bam, a sinus headache.

Migraines are some of the worst head pain you’ll ever feel. It’s hard for many people to work when they’re suffering from a migraine; the pain is that intense and debilitating. You may be sensitive to light and sound, and you may even throw up. Migraines regularly send people to immediate care centers or even emergency rooms, so if you think you’re dealing with regular or frequent migraines, talk to a doctor as soon as possible.

Facial pain

Does it hurt to drink iced tea or hot coffee? Does one side of your mouth hurt while the other side is fine? Is there a pain that radiates from your mouth and spreads to the rest of your face? The sooner you make an appointment, the sooner you can get answers and start feeling better.
