Michael Jordan’s talents always shined on the basketball court, but now he’s generating professional recognition in yet another competitive field. Michael Jordan was one of several featured athletes that went toe to toe against poker pros such as Johnny Chan, Greg Raymer, Phil Gordon, and Phil Helmuth in an annual charity event hosted by former NBA player Trent Tucker. The event took place in Minneapolis to benefit youth programs. Jordan’s reputations of professionalism proceeded him, as he took the $25,000 first prize in the no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament. He donated his entire winnings to charity.
