Myspace.com, the networking site, has finally found something better to do than providing a medium for local bands to bug me and for child molesters to stalk prey.
Myspace announced that they are promoting 20 concerts around the country to raise funds and awareness for a humanitarian mission in Sudan.
The Oct. 21 concerts will take place in Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco; Melbourne and St. Petersburg, Fla.; Atlanta; Louisville, Ky.; Minneapolis; Reno, Nev.; Baltimore, Asheville and Winston-Salem, N.C.; Medford, Ore.; Philadelphia; Charleston, S.C.; Seattle and Spokane, Wash.; Milwaukee; Washington, D.C.; and Toronto, Canada.
In local news, Austin’s finest strip club recently launched their Myspace page.
