First it was the massive spinach crisis. Then I read reports about how lettuce might be having some of the same issues. Then, today, I read that some carrot juice in Canada was making people sick.

Really, all these things are supposed to be good for you. When was the last time you heard about a health scare with cigarettes, vodka, or pork rinds? Furthermore, what is happening to all this bad food? It’s probably going into dumpsters and landfills. If we’re going to throw away so much scary food, can’t we at least turn it into compost? Or, better yet, bio diesel. We could run our vehicles on bad spinach. Really, it’s no more dangerous than giving money to the people in the Middle East, where some of the excessive wealth gets diverted to terrorism.
