The Greens were concerned that lead paint would get in the ocean, but fail to realize that the ocean has all the elements naturally occuring, including asbestos, radiation and lead. The Greens opposed asbestos and DDT, which have been found to save lives and if used properly, is not harmful to man or beast. In fact, it has been shown through studies that the Twin Towers would not have fallen had asbestos been used on the girders as had been required by the architect of the building.
