HaleighIn February 2009 and 5 year old little girl disappeared off the face of the earth and has not been seen or heard from since. Little HaLeigh Cummings became a household name for a lot of people across this country. There have been lots of theories about what happened to her but no one has come up with one that they can prove yet so her disappearance over 4 years ago remains a mystery to this day.

HaLeigh’s birthday is coming up on August 17 and she will be 10 years old. Every year her grandmother, Teresa Neves and her great grandmother, Annette Sykes do this in honor of HaLeigh and they would like  for anyone interested to join them again this year for the Vigil to be held on August 10, 2013.

The Vigil is set for 4:00 p.m at the home of Annette Sykes which is located at 302 Osceola Avenue in Satsuma Florida. They are asking for people to please come and join them as they pray for HaLeigh’s safe return.

If you would be interested in making a donation please go here to get more information about where to send them or bring them. They are also taking cash donation, which the school will take to purchase the school supplies for you. If you do this though please be sure to write HaLeigh’s Closet in the memo section on the check to be sure it goes to the right place. All checks should be made out to the school.

I can not attend this vigil but as I do every year I sit at home and join them  in prayers for HaLeigh and I light a candle so if you can’t be there at least try to do that please. It is for HaLeigh. She needs to find her way home one way or another. She is loved and missed by so many people but especially by her family.

God bless Teresa and Annette for hanging in there and never forgetting this precious little girl. God bless HaLeigh too, where ever she is. The world loves you HaLeigh and we pray that one day soon God will lead you home.
