i am an asian that grew up in america and have found white americans to be the most racist. white people in general are also racist, whether they are american, canadian, western european, or otherwise. ive met people from throughout the world, so i know what i am talking about. for the most part, i do not have problems with blacks, hispanics, arabs, pakistanis, southeast asians, etc. i also have white friends, but the % of white racists i have met are much higher than black racists. i generally do not have a problem with people from the former ussr (except jews)

All people are racist! But the term racist in today's society has a differnt meaning. It no longer applies to a specific ethnicity!!!! Our children of today are color blind and more excepting which must mean their parents know how harmful and unjust it is to consider one race superior over another. There is good and bad in every race. The race card is over played, we need to let it go!!!!! Obama was elected President by his promise for "change" and to work on behalf of the people; black, white, asian, hispanic etc.. My feelings of him being a poor choice; is not based on his color but rather He does not represent the CHANGE this American wants. I believe he played a good game and won the hearts of the voters but turned out to be a typical politician with his own agenda. He has been in office almost a year and the only accomplishment he has achieved has been to grow the national debt. I believe it is human nature to be racist when they feel threatend. To me being racist applies to all people that don't fit a persons comfort zone. You can call me a racist because I choose to cross the street when I see someone that makes me feel unsafe no matter what color they are; I call it being cautious. If you break it down it is not the color of ones skin rather the way the person looks, speaks and his are her body language that offends or threatends peoples judgement. When anyone tries to benefit from calling it "racism" to gain special privleges without due merit it keeps the meaning alive from the past. Live in the present, we all have the same rights and opportuinties.

It is sad but true that most Americans have racist feelings that can crop up now and then. More and more of us are hopefully able to put them aside. That's why so many people do not admit to being racists. The terminology in common parlance is used for someone whose racist feelings and thoughts govern significant aspect sof how they live and act toward other people. Even Jesse Jackson once admited he would rather be on the other side of the street from a black dude who may be up to no good.
