Doo-ing the town

When you’re out on the town, you may have, on occassion, had to side-step some doggie-doo.  There may have even been times when you ‘mis-stepped’.  In the Tompkins Square Park or Chelsea sections of New York, mis-stepping is now less of a hazard.  The doo-doo piles are still there, left behind by unconcerned dog owners, but now they’re much easier to see and step around.  Three young guys, in what they call ‘urban beautification’, have started to decorate the abandoned mounds, as art.  They make Santa-Doo, Hot Dog Doo, maybe even Scoobie Doo, but you really have to see it for yourself.  I mean, you just can’t make this stuff up…
